November #InsideSocialCops was as wonderful as it could get! With a lot of new team members joining in, Diwali celebrations, Dog Day, and wonderful #InsideData sessions — it was an exciting month for all of us here. And, as always, we are glad to share it all with you. Here is a glimpse of November #InsideSocialCops 🎉
What we have been up to lately
— SocialCops (@Social_Cops) November 6, 2018
Every second Thursday of the month, our team members working across functions — engineering, research and analysis, product — come together for #InsideData sessions. These sessions have helped our team to learn, discuss difficulties and help each other, and solve some interesting challenges together. This month’s #InsideData sessions were all about learning — OpenStreetMaps, QGIS Projects, and the Jupyter Notebook. 🗺️
What we are hosting
We love interacting and learning with our community that is passionate about solving problems using data and technology. We hosted the November edition of PyDelhi Meetup and Node.js Day at SocialCops. Watch all talk videos on our YouTube here. Ankita from our team was at the ICT4D Social talking about public data — its uses, challenges, and the role of technology.
