In September 2016, we were invited to speak at the 4th year of The Big 5 Construct India 2016 in Mumbai. The conferences gathered the best of the construction industry and the latest solutions specifically tailored for the Indian built environment under one roof.
In total, the conference featured 150 exhibitors (including us!) from 15 countries — Turkey, Italy, UK, UAE, Russia, Iran, China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Singapore, Thailand, Germany, and India.
As part of the panel on “Smart Development through Leveraging Technology”, we spoke about data-driven solutions for creating smart cities. The presentation covered the current landscape of smart city solutions, how cities and organizations can create smart cities, potential ways for the construction industry to use data while implementing smart city projects, and some relevant case studies from our experiences.
