“Their work in helping to implement the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has aroused interest because of the scale involved and the speed with which it was done.”
– Kavita Charanji, Civil Society Magazine
It always feels great to have your work recognized, right? We are excited to share that we started our September with a wonderful feature in Civil Society Online Magazine, an independent magazine published from Delhi. The Magazine has a vision of “telling stories of change” from India.
The feature talks about our work in powering the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna and how our data intelligence platform helped ministry officials to implement the scheme across India. From identifying the best locations, opening new LPG distribution centers to monitoring scheme beneficiaries at every step of the process and ensuring installation of connections, the feature gives a glimpse of our objectives, the process, the bottlenecks and how we solved them.
“Our goal is to build products that are as simple to use as WhatsApp for the entire data journey — from data collection to data visualisation, to using alternative data processes that can help decision-making.”
– Prukalpa Sankar, Co-founder, SocialCops
