We’re excited to announce that we were one of 35 startups selected for the first India-U.S. Startup Konnect, which showcases the most innovative Indian startups across different sectors. Our co-founder Varun Banka took a trip out to Silicon Valley to present our work to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leading entrepreneurs.

Hosted by NASSCOM, The Indus Entrepreneurs, and IIM Ahmedabad’s CIIE India, India-U.S. Startup Konnect was organized to highlight the strengths of the Indian startup sector. As PM Modi explained during his trip to Silicon Valley, “India is emerging as a hub of start-ups in a wide range of areas and we aspire to take this further. We want the world to see our innovation capabilities in the startup sector. At this event, a group of Indian startups will showcase their innovations and forge partnerships with the vibrant American startup industry.”
India-U.S. Startup Konnect was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as other people from the Indian and U.S. entrepreneur ecosystem like Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn), Kanwal Rekhi (Inventus Capital), Naren Gupta (Nexus Ventures), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Paytm), Naveen Tewari (InMobi), Rohit Bansal (Snapdeal). In total, more than 500 people attended the event and 300+ leaders participated in discussions.

“Personally I think this is one of the best times to be in India. There’s a lot of growth, a lot of technology penetration.
I think in the last year there has been a lot of capital infusion into India, which is providing part of the much-needed seed capital to grow.
It’s pretty awesome to see how the Indian start-up is developing its own mark on the world and to be a part of that.”
